Tim Johnson brings over a decade of enterprise business skills and experience to the table as an entrepreneur. Over the course of many diverse and challenging assignments, Tim consistently focuses on continuous improvement and the creation of process efficiencies in the achievement of operational goals.
Tim attended the University of Connecticut and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000 with a degree in International Business Management. Tim’s career began with Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies company. Tim’s role included managing supplier relations with key strategic suppliers in Japan and Asia (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries). Tim also gained hands-on experience in continuous improvement through a kaizen implementation in UTC’s East Hartford manufacturing facility. These experiences within Fortune 100 manufacturing/operations business units were formative, and became the foundation for Tim’s real-estate operational philosophy and business process.
Presently, Tim continues to leverage both his hands-on management skills, and his deal-making abilities in the field of commercial investment real estate with his firm TBJPA. Since moving to Florida in 2002, through his association with Marcus & Millichap, Realty Asset Advisors, and now, TBJPA, Tim has listed and closed over $875 million in Florida investment real-estate.
Today, Tim actively manages and transacts investment properties, while also acquiring and repositioning assets on behalf of third-party investors within a managed portfolio.
Tim is also an accomplished FAA licensed pilot holding an ATP certificate, with several turbojet type-ratings. He has instructed and flown internationally throughout the Western Hemisphere, and has conducted flight operations under 14 CFR Parts 91, 121, and 135. Tim’s personal interests include spending time with his family, recreational aviation, travel, and exercise. Presently, Tim resides in Tampa, Florida.
